About Us

ZAASO is a community based registered non-profit NGO. We are primarily a Horse & Donkey Sanctuary and also run a general animal clinic where treatment can be provided. We are situated in Kianga, give us a call if you would like to make an appointment or know if we are going to be in your area.

We ask only that the cost of any medical supplies used be covered, and all donations are very welcome as we have extremely limited resources – we exist only on private donations.

There is a regular Saturday morning community clinic and whenever possible we undertake sterilisation campaign and educate the public on animal issues through outreach.
